Thunder blank W-W Miners, 3-0

Medina/Pingree-Buchanan got their 15th victory of the volleyball campaign with a 25-13, 25-12 and 25-14 result over the Wilton-Wing Miners on September 26 at Wilton.

Senior middle hitter Maddie Gefroh dominated the match with 20 kills and three blocks, and junior Brynn Sorenson was also active with seven kills and 23 digs in the back row for the Thunder.

Other leaders for M/P-B included Violet Bohl's 34 assists, and Cierra Mack had a pair of aces. On the front line, Destiny Opp and Jorgen Tripp both posted two blocks, to go along with four kills each.

This Tuesday, M/P-B (15-4, 1-1 District 6) returns to league play against Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter in Napoleon, and return to Pingree Thursday to face Region 3 opponent BCN.
