Harvey-Wells County traveled to Washburn on Saturday, October 5, and came out with the championship in the Bronze division of the Washburn-Wilton Volleyball Tournament.
In pool play, the Hornets defeated Garrison, split with Flasher and were beaten by Lewis & Clark-Berthold. In tournament play, HWC defeated Glen Ullin/Hebron in three games, and beat Divide County for the championship in the Bronze division.
Flasher earned the Gold division championship, while L&C-Berthold was the Silver division champ and Wilton-Wing claimed the consolation championship.
Statistically, Braylee Keller led the Hornets on the day with 39 kills and 50 digs, while Kali Fike had 70 assists and 13 aces.
