CMC 'Tablescapes' well attended

On October 12th, 15 decorated tables were on display at the Calvary Baptist Church in Carrington. The Carrington Medical Center's Auxiliary presented "Tablescapes".

With over 120 attendees, not counting numerous volunteers, the event was sold out and very well attended. Peggy Smith and Evie Skytland greeted people, took tickets and handed out programs. Karen Goheen served punch. Special music was provided by Austin Trelstad and lunch was prepared and served by volunteers. Many donated, silent auction items were also available.

Numerous volunteers decorated each table with varying themes including: Easter, camping, Scandinavian heritage, breast cancer awareness, the great outdoors, Christmas/winter, autumn, it's 5 o'clock somewhere, Hocus Pocus, the tropics, ocean side, hats and the Old West.

Sherry Florhaug, Jan Hart and Dorothy Fenske chaired this project.

The proceeds for the event are used to purchase furnishings and medical equipment for the medical center.
