Titans defeat Tri-State

Griggs/Midkota will be entering the 9-man playoffs on a high, defeating the Tri-State Tigers by a score of 61-8 in the season finale Friday night, Oct. 11, in Cooperstown.

The win concludes a successful 6-2 regular season for the Titans, who now await their next opponent in the second round of the playoffs Saturday, Oct. 26, whether it be Wyndmere/Lidgerwood or May-Port-CG.

Brady Haugen, Kindle Carlson and Levi Kautzman each had a pair of touchdowns, as all of G/M's scoring plays came on the ground. Cole Vincent and Max Ludwig also scored.

For the contest, the Titans rolled to 478 rushing yards. Vincent had 12 carries for 174 yards, and Haugen ran 10 times for 139.
