Thunder take four-set win over Oakes

M/P-B recorded win number 25 for the 2024 season with a 3-1 (26-28, 25-10, 25-19, 25-19) win over Oakes in Pingree Tuesday night, Oct. 22.

While monster offensive nights are not necessarily rare in high school volleyball, what Maddie Gefroh and Brynn Sorenson did as a tandem defied description. The two combined for a mind-boggling 60 kills, Gefroh with 32 and Sorenson 28.

That led to a very-high assist total for Violet Bohl, who recorded 49 in the win.
